Initially set up to provide fabrication support to SPETCO’s own EPC projects and looking ahead to the industry requirements, the facility was expanded into a full-fledged Fabrication Facility equipped with the latest and automated systems to carry out high quality and cost-efficient fabrication jobs.
The facility is in Mina Abdullah Industrial Area and its proximity to Oil & Gas companies & facilities provides ease of transportation to its clients. SPETCO’s Fabrication capabilities are as follows:

Automated Pipe Fabrication Shop
Pipe fabrication facility is equipped with dual automated lines capable of fabricating SS, CS & AS pipes controlled and monitored by central computerized control room. The production lines consist of one roller-bench type set of 6 axis Plasma / Flame cutting & beveling machine, one set of high speed pipe cutting band saw machine, one sets of fixed type pipe end beveling machine (180°), four sets of pipe fabrication fast fit up motorized machines, four pipe fabrication automatic welding machines or pipe cantilever automatic welding machines, all served by a motorized & remotely controlled conveyer system, four Jib Cranes, four trollies, semi Gantry crane and two Overhead cranes.
The automated production system offers very high production efficiency for pipe with 99% accuracy and repair free welding of joints. The automated system fabricates spools and fixes the fitting, flanges and valves.

Sand Blasting & Painting section offers a complete and diverse list of corrosion protection services for oil and gas, chemical, and construction companies. Also, cleans and removes corrosion of surfaces prior to applying a protective coating with all type of painting.
