Established in 1963, as SAFWAN, a trading and contracting company involved in various commercial trading activities was very fruitful. The success of Safwan & the foresight of the stake holders in recognizing the growing opportunities in the local oil and gas sector led to the formation of a separate division named as Industrial & Energy Services in the early 70’s to service exclusively the Oil & Gas Sector.
Due to impressive growth and greater market demand in the oil and gas industry, eventually led to formation of a separate legal entity known as Safwan Petroleum Technologies Company W.L.L, a limited liability company incorporated in 2001.
For nearly four decades now, SPETCO has been fulfilling the products, services and technology requirements of the industrial, commercial and the oil and gas sectors in Kuwait, earning a reputation for having the highest standards of customer delivery and service.
Over the course of time the company successful completed several oil & gas projects in Kuwait which led to it be recognized as being one of the best local oil & gas service companies providing the widest range of services. Subsequently in 2012 as part of its growth and rebranding the company name was changed to SPETCO International Petroleum Company WLL.
